about meaghan

Meaghan lived in New Orleans for more than ten years and was there before, during and after Hurricane Katrina. Feeling broken after the storm, she bought a one-way ticket to Spain in search of beauty and kindness in the world. This lead to 13 months of adventure throughout Europe where she worked with horses, took care of children, taught yoga, cleaned yachts, lived on farms, visited big cities and small towns, slept outside, saw, felt, laughed, cried, explored, ached, devoured, lived. And she photographed everything along the way. When Africa came calling, Meaghan headed to Kenya to hang out with some elephants and finally made it to India to study yoga in its homeland. In her professional life, Meaghan consults for non-profit organizations in the US and NGOs abroad, with an emphasis on Africa and education and economic development for girls and women affected by war. Meaghan remains humbled by how vast and beautiful the world is; she will explore and photograph it for life.
